NYC Is Dumping One Billion Oysters Into Its Harbor

Its a few months old now, but this is an interesting video about the Billion Oyster Project in NYC cleaning up New York Harbor using oysters! Apparently oysters can filter around 50 gallons of water daily, so they are building/restoring oyster habitats in the harbor to encourage the oyster population to grow. They already have big (and some unexpected) results with other parts of the ecosystem starting to restore itself too.
