Welcome! This is a community to recommend Youtube videos! Here's some important things to know!
1. Be courteous and civil with one another, even in disagreement. Maintainers reserve the right to excuse anyone from the community who is continually disruptive or disrespectful of others.
2. Bigotry and hate speech are disallowed here. This includes in video recs. Videos that promote hateful ideology (gender critical, anti-LGBTQ+, etc.) are disallowed.
3. Recs that might reasonably be considered dangerous are disallowed. Some examples would include recs that uncritically present harmful conspiracy theories, or that encourage self harm or the like.
4. If embedding more than one video per post, please put all but one embed under cut.
5. Feel free to format recs at your discretion! Drop an embed without elaboration, or provide a review or info on the video if you like!
6. Use our tag system please! Here is our tag page! But do not stress if you are unsure of what tags to use—maintainers can tag your post as well if you miss anything. Some more tag info:

- length: short is for any video 25 minutes and under
- length: mid is for videos 26-45 minutes
- length: long is for any video 46 minutes and over
- length: extra long is for videos over 2 hours!
- vibe: food safe refers to any video that is probably safe for most people to watch while eating (i.e. free from things that might ruin a lot of people's appetites such as depictions or discussions of bodily fluids, death, filth, etc.)
